Ghana Cedi on Wednesday depreciated to the Dollar, the Euro and the CFA pushing up the Gold Coast Securities (GCS)-Cedi Index by 0.12 points.

Ghana Cedi on Tuesday continued its' lost to the dollar and CFA but appreciated against the Pound and the Euro ending flat at 0.00 points the Gold Coast Securities (GCS)-Cedi Index. The Index, the composite measure of the value of the Ghana cedi against the Dollar, Pound, CFA and the Euro, therefore, remained unchanged at 113.27 on Tuesday
 
7. Accra Bourse Index Begins Week with a Slim Gain
The GSE-All Share Index, the main index of the Accra Bourse, began the week on a weak note with the GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, rising marginally by 1.59 points to close at 10,517.45 points.

Ghana Cedi closed the week today Friday with gains to the Pound and Euro but continued fall to the dollar thus pushing up the Gold Coast Securities (GCS)-Cedi Index down by 0.02 points.

HFC Bank on Thursday opened a new branch at Baatsona on the Spintex road in Accra to bring its banking services to the doorstep of its customers. The new branch brings to 14 HFC Bank branches across the country.
 
10. BoG won't Approve RCBs Loans above 2,000 GH cedis
Bank of Ghana (BoG) will no longer approve loans above 2,000 Ghana cedis that Rural and Community Banks (RCBs) give to their customers, effective July this year.
